My teaching philosophy is to both challenge and to encourage students to strive for excellence; to give students rich lesson content as well as appropriate assignment feedback, and to emphasize the importance of professional ethics. I encourage students to study abroad, participate in international conferences and develop a global perspective. The most rewarding aspects of teaching for me are mentoring students, encouraging them to strive for excellence, and seeing them succeed academically and professionally.
